In 2010, Voices of Youth will celebrate its 25th Anniversary!
For two and a half decades, youth from all over the Virginia Conference (and beyond) have been traveling across the world experiencing mission in order to come back and educate our local congregations on their mission experiences through music, service, and testimony. This special tour will spend time doing mission work and offering concerts in each of the 18 districts within the Virginia Conference. The tour will start on July 1 and end on July 23, 2010.
The cost of the trip is anticipated to be $1,200. Participants raise these funds through covenant relationships with groups within their church such as the missions committee, the United Methodist Men, the United Methodist Women, and others. Participants can also utilize other fundraising methods. Most participants raise the full amount of the trip, or a large portion of it.
